How to Use Flowers with Hair Down

Step 1

Wash the hair and dry it. Put a bit of hair spray on.

Step 2

Put the hot rollers on the hair, beginning at the tips. Roll these to your scalp. Keep the hot rollers on your hair for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes take the rollers off and shake your head in a side to side manner.

If you want the hair curled into spirals, put some hairspray on immediately after taking off the rollers. If you prefer the hair in loose waves, comb the curls using your fingers. Put plenty of hairspray on when the hair is set the way you want it.

Step 3

To start putting on the bridal hair flowers, cut the stems so only a couple of inches of it remain.

Step 4

Decide where you want to put the flowers. You can put one behind the ear. Alternatively you can set several flowers at the back of your head. Place these at different locations.

Step 5

Push the stem into the hair. Use a hairpin to secure them in place. Bobby pins with the same color as your hair should be used so they’re not conspicuous. To hold the flowers and hair in place, apply hairspray.

Donning Flowers with Hair Up

Step 1

Wash and dry the hair.Add a bit of hairspray on. You can also use a curl boosting spray.

Step 2

Put the rollers starting at the tips. Roll them up to your scalp. Remove them after 20 minutes. Pony tail the hair. Fold the pony tail to the crown of the head. Set the hair to a bun. Secure it with a hair tie.

Step 3

Distribute the curls around the bun. Secure each curl with a bobby pin. Put some hairspray on.

Step 4

Cut the stems and put the flowers at the bun sides. Hold these in place with bobby pins. Put hairspray on.

Tip: put generous amounts of hairspray on. They will be needed to keep the hair in place.
